Role
Searching for a skilled and experienced online English teacher to lead a focused 10-hour OET preparation course for healthcare professionals aiming to excel in the Occupational English Test. This program will be conducted entirely online, with multiple weekly sessions, each lasting one hour. The online English teacher will play a pivotal role in equipping medical professionals with the language skills and clinical communication strategies essential for success in the OET. Specialised OET preparation materials and resources will be provided, along with access to a range of online practice exams and tools.
Responsibilities
Conduct intensive online OET preparation sessions, focusing on the specific clinical language skills and communication strategies crucial for success in the healthcare-specific examination.
Cultivate an environment that fosters rigorous exam practice, including in-depth analysis of medical case notes and targeted improvement of clinical verbal interactions.
Provide detailed feedback and personalised coaching to support healthcare professionals in achieving their target OET grades (such as Grade B or 350+).
Tailor teaching approaches to address the individual needs and medical specialisms of OET test-takers within the course.
Efficiently manage online resources and communication platforms to facilitate a seamless learning experience, offering easy access to OET-specific practice materials, sub-test sets, and mock exams.
Requirements
Fast and reliable internet connection to ensure that lessons are seamless and without interruptions.
Up-to-date computer to ensure that the that runs smoothly .
Familiarity with using video conferencing software similar to Zoom and its various features.
Quality headset with microphone to enhance lesson audio quality if your surroundings are not quiet.
Books, lesson plans and interactive teaching aids such as slide presentations, activities, and games will be provided.
